Toilet Terminology

With half of the December holidays behind us, Water Heater Repair Oklahoma City chose to have a little fun today and wished to share a new infographic by Phil Luther with you. It is exactly 7 months to the 104th anniversary of John Crapper’s death (July 27), the person to whom the development of the flush toilet is generally related to. In fact, in 1596 John Harrington created the modern flush toilet, though Crapper did further the development of the toilet and held many essential plumbing patents that made toilets work much better and in a more hygienic way.

Your toilet might be working a little overtime this holiday season if you have had many guests and family in from out of town. We recommend for everyone to be mindful of what all gets flushed so you will not have to call us for any toilet repairs. Try to keep a trash can in plain sight next to the toilet so visitors will use it and not flush products that you would not usually flush yourself … maybe keep a plunger in plain sight too, simply in case.

Delight in the list of associated terms for the word “toilet” below and delight in the remainder of the period!
